MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Miniature marshmallows

Cream sugar and cooking oil. Add eggs and beat well. Mix together flour, cocoa, and salt. Add to sugar mixture. Beat well. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat well. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 325 degrees. Take out of oven and cover with marshmallows. Put back in oven for 3 to 5 minutes (no longer). Let cool for about 10 minutes, then frost.

FROSTING:

2 sticks butter, melted
1 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine sugar and cocoa. Add melted butter and milk. Beat well. Add vanilla and nuts, and beat well for about 5 minutes. Spread on cake. Let stand for 2 hours before cutting.
