LINDVALL BISCUITS 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. shortening (I use lard)
2/3 c. milk

Use mixer or spoon to mix together flour, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar and shortening. Leave slightly chunky. Add milk, stirring JUST enough to blend in dry ingredients, gently, gently. Flatten, cut into rectangles. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
