SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Sift flour, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, salt together. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Add sour cream and dry ingredients alternately, beating well after each addition. Add walnuts. Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
