GERMAN SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1 c. butter
5 egg yolks
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix butter, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and baking powder. Add soda to sour cream and stir. Chill dough several hours. Roll small portions of dough on lightly floured board. Cut into shapes. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Remove cookies immediately to cool.
