GERMAN SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
4 egg yolks
1 c. butter
3 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt. Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Cream together until light and fluffy. Add well beaten egg yolks and mix thoroughly. Fold in equal portion of flour and alternately add sour cream in which soda has been added with remaining flour. Roll small portion of dough on well floured board into a thin sheet and cut with cookie cutter. Place on a greased cookie tin and bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
