2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts (pecans, hickory nuts, or black walnuts)
1 c. cocoa
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. butter
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
1 c. raisins
4 eggs

Mix all ingredients well. Bake in a 350 degree oven until cake tests done.

ICING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. sweet milk
Lemon extract

Cook to soft ball stage.
