BROWNED SWISS STEAK 
1/4 c. mild garlic, French dressing
1-2 lb. beef round steak, about 3/4" thick
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
3 c. hot cooked noodles
2 tbsp. flour

In Dutch oven or 10 inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot French dressing, brown round steak well on both sides. Add undiluted onion soup and 1/4 cup water. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 2 hours or until fork tender, turning meat occasionally and adding more water if needed. Place steak on warm platter and surround with noodles; keep warm.

In small bowl, blend flour and 1/4 cup water until smooth; gradually stir into hot liquid in Dutch oven and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened. Serve gravy with meat and noodles. Makes 6 servings.
