EASY AND EXCELLENT SWISS STEAK 
6 serving size pieces cubed steak
1 lg. onion, sliced
12 oz. V-8 juice
Seasoned flour for dredging

Coat the pieces of steak heavily in seasoned flour. Brown these in oil on top of the stove, pan fry.

While the meat is cooking, put the V-8 juice and sliced onion in 1 1/2 quart casserole with lid and slide into a 325 degree oven. As the meat is browned, transfer each piece to the casserole and cook slowly at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with rice or potatoes.
