BURGERS O'BRIEN 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (3 c.) frozen hash brown potatoes
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. chopped pimento
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground lean beef
8 hamburger buns, toasted and buttered

Chop potatoes slightly, sprinkle with salt. In skillet, combine potatoes, onions, pepper and butter. Cover and cook until potatoes are done. Stir occasionally. Combine egg, pimento, salt, pepper, stir into potato mixture, then add ground beef. Mix well.

Shape meat mixture into 8 patties about 1/2 inch thick. Grill over medium hot heat for 5 minutes. Turn and grill 3-4 minutes longer. Serve on toasted buns.
