OLD CANADIAN BUTTER TARTS 
1 egg
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. raisins or currants
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. toasted wheat germ

Mix together; beat until bubbly. Spoon into uncooked tart shells. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown on top.
