CINNAMON REFRIGERATOR COOKIES 
3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening (or butter)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. nuts, chopped

Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and salt together. Cream shortening, then add both sugars. Cream together. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Add dry ingredients (1 cup at a time). Add nuts. Divide dough in half. Roll out each portion to about the size of a silver dollar. Wrap each in waxed paper, store in refrigerator 8 to 10 hours. Slice thin. Bake at 350 degrees 7 to 10 minutes.
