PIEROGI CASSEROLE 
6-7 lg. potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 lb. Cheddar or American cheese, grated
2 sticks butter
2 med. onions, chopped
1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked

Mash potatoes and add cheese and salt to taste. Beat well. Saute onions in butter until soft, add 1/3 of mixture to potatoes and mix well. Generously butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place a layer of lasagna noodles in pan, overlapping slightly. Then a layer of potato mix. Repeat ending with noodles. Pour remaining onion mix over all. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees until heated through. Approximately 45 minutes.
