FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked crust

BOTTOM FILLING:

4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk

TOP FILLING:

1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
Cool Whip

Combine cream cheese and sugar. Beat until smooth. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Beat. Pour into unbaked pie shell, bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool. Then cut up berries into pie. Combine water, sugar and corn starch in saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until hot, then lower heat to low and cook 2 minutes or until clear.

Remove from stove. Add box of dry Jello powder. Stir. Pour this mixture while hot over the baked and cooled cheese pie. Spread evenly, chill until set. Top with Cool Whip.

Fresh peaches and peach Jello may be substituted.
