2 pkg. (8 oz.) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 1 c. sugar 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese 3 tsp. vanilla 1 egg, separated 1/2 c. walnuts Grease 9 x 12 inch Pyrex baking dish. Spread 1 package crescent rolls on bottom. Combine sugar, cream cheese, egg yolk and vanilla with mixer. Spread over crescent roll layer in pan. Spread second package of crescent rolls on top of mixture. Beat egg white until white and foamy. Spread egg white on top and sprinkle with additional sugar and walnuts. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Chill. Cut into 24 squares. |
