1 box cherry flavored cake mix

ICING:

1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 jar maraschino cherries

1. Bake cake (follow directions on box). Cool.

2. ICING: Combine Crisco, egg, salt and cocoa. Add powdered sugar alternately with cherry juice as needed to make good spreading consistency.

3. Garnish with cherries and mint leaves.
