1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. honey
1 sm. egg
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Cream shortening and honey until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Sift flour mixture; add vanilla and blend well. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Chill and drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
