1/4 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. strawberry cake mix
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and nuts. Drop dough by teaspoon about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
