STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
3 med. green peppers
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. quick cooking rice, uncooked
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1/3 c. water
1 c. (8 oz. can) tomato sauce

Cut peppers in half, removing core and seeds. Place peppers in 2- quart (12x7) baking dish. In medium mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients, using only half of tomato sauce. Spoon mixture into peppers. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over the meat. Cook, covered with wax paper, 10 minutes in microwave. Makes 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
