COFFEE RAISIN BARS 
1/2 c. coffee
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg

Pour hot coffee over raisins. Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients and coffee-raisin mixture. Put in 9x9 pan. Bake 25 minutes, 350 degrees. Cut in bars. Roll in powdered sugar.
