1 lb. light brown sugar
1 c. Crisco oil
3 c. flour
1 c. warm coffee
1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. nuts
1 tsp. baking soda

Beat eggs, add brown sugar, oil and 1 cup warm coffee. Mix together the flour, salt and soda. Add by cupfuls to the above mixture. Add vanilla, batter will be thin. Pour batter into greased 12 x 8 pan. Top with bits and nuts. Bake 20 minutes in 350 degree oven.
