APPLE CUSTARD DELIGHT | |
2 c. flour 2 sticks butter 3 tbsp. sugar FILLING: 8 med. apples 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon Mix flour, butter and 3 tablespoons of sugar as for pie crust. Place in 10x15 inch pan. Peel and slice apples and put in rows on top of crust. Mix 1 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with foil. Return to oven for 15 minutes more. CUSTARD: 3 sm. or 2 lg. pkgs. vanilla pudding 5 c. milk 1 lg. container Cool Whip Prepare pudding mix with 5 cups of milk instead of 6 as stated on package. Pour custard over apples and cover with wax paper and refrigerate overnight. Spread with Cool Whip. Cut in strips. |
