CINNAMON APPLE DELIGHT 
6 apples
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash apples, then half and core; do not peel. Place in a 2 quart casserole. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, water and raisins. Pour mixture over apples. Cut butter into pieces and dot on top of apple mixture. Cover with tin foil and bake for 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream.
