SEVEN LAYER COOKIES 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. (6 oz.) butterscotch bits
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped

Melt butter in 13x9x2 pan, cover entire bottom. Spread with layer of graham cracker crumbs. Cover with layer of flaked coconut. Add layer of butterscotch bits, then layer chocolate bits. Swirl condensed milk back and forth over top. Cover with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool in pan on rack. Cut in squares. Store in refrigerator for 2 days to improve flavor. Yield: 4 dozen.
