FRUIT SOUP 
1 c. pitted prunes
1 c. raisins
1 c. dried apples
2 quarts water
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 sm. sticks cinnamon
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. instant tapioca

In large saucepan combine prunes, raisins, apples and water set aside 8 hours or overnight. Stir in remaining ingredients bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, simmer 1 hour. Discard cinnamon sticks before serving. Serve hot or chilled.
