PIE DOUGH TO MAKE IN CUISINART | |
1 1/3 c. all purpose flour 4 oz. cold butter 1 tsp. salt (less if you use salted butter) 1 tbsp. sugar; optional 1/4 c. ice water Use steel blade. Cut butter into small pieces and add to all ingredients except ice water. Process until mixture has consistency of coarse meal, 5-10 seconds. With machine running, pour in ice water in a steady stream through feeder tube. In 20-50 seconds, ball of dough will form. Can use right away or chill. |
