3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
Approximately 2 c. plain flour

Mix all ingredients together. You may need more or less flour. Add until dough is stiff. Grease pie pan. Pat 1/2 of dough in pan. Fill with favorite filling (peaches, blackberries, apples, etc.)

Roll rest of dough. Put over filling. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
