VINEGAR PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 pie shell

Combine sugar, water and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Add butter; stir until it melts. Mix flour with small amount water until smooth. Slowly add to boiling liquid and stir until thickened.

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites, cream of tartar until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla. Brown at 300 degrees.
