MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
6 qts. popped popcorn 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white Karo 1/4 tsp. salt 1 stick butter 1/2 tsp. baking soda In 1 quart dish add brown sugar, Karo, salt and butter. Microwave High for 2 minutes. Stir. Cook 2 more minutes. Take out and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda; stir well. Place popped corn in a grocery bag. Pour brown sugar mixture over corn and shake. Cook on High 1 1/2 minutes in bag. Shake bag. Cook 30 seconds more and then spread on wax paper to cool. |
