DEEP-DISH APPLE PIE 
3 c. sliced apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour plus 2 tbsp.
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix apples, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Place in a deep 8-inch baking dish. With a pastry blender, mix 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar and oil. Place over apples. Put a little cinnamon on top.

Bake at 375°F for 45 to 50 minutes until apples are done and it is brown and bubbly.
