BEST EVER CARAMEL CORN 
6 qts. popped corn
1 can beer nuts
1 c. walnuts
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Combine all ingredients except the soda in a saucepan. Boil 5 minutes, then add the baking soda. Stir into popcorn in a large roasting pan. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir several times while baking.
