BACON-POTATO SOUP 
4 c. diced potatoes
1 chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 carrot, sliced
1 (2 oz.) jar bacon pieces
4 tbsp. butter
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk

In 3 quart casserole, combine first 7 ingredients. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 13-15 minutes, until potatoes are done. Stir in milk, salt, and pepper. Cook on high 8 minutes or until heated. Serves 10.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
