AUNT'S WHIP CREAM CAKE 
1 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour (sifted 3 times)
3 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites, beaten until stiff
Add 1/2 c. water after beaten

Cream together sugar and whipping cream. Add flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Beat well. Fold in egg whites. Bake in two 8 inch layer pans at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Slice bananas between layers and frost between layers and rest of cake with brown sugar icing.

BROWN SUGAR FROSTING:

2 c. brown sugar
8 tbsp. cream
2 tbsp. butter
2 level tsp. baking powder

Bring to a boil sugar, cream and butter. Remove from heat and add baking powder. Let cool for awhile and beat until thick enough to spread on cake. You may add some powdered sugar to this if not thick enough.
