SAUERBRATEN MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. milk

Mix together ingredients. Form meatballs and brown in butter. Then mix: 4 tbsp. vinegar 4 tbsp. catsup 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 c. raisins 1 tsp. salt 12 crushed ginger snaps

Pour over meatballs, bring to full boil, then simmer 15 minutes. Makes 6 generous servings.
