2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. apple spices
1 c. cider
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar well. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Sift dry ingredients together and add to first mixture with the cider and vanilla. Beat well. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
