HAMBURGER CHOW MEIN 
1 lb. ground hamburger or ground turkey
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. brown gravy sauce (La Choy)
2 c. diced celery
1 1/2 c. water
2 cans (15 oz.) bean sprouts (drained & rinsed)
1 sm. can mushrooms, drained & sliced
2 tbsp. water

Place hamburger or ground turkey and onion in large skillet, fry until meat is light brown, drain off drippings. Add salt, pepper, celery and water. Bring to a boil, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes. Add rinsed bean sprouts and heat.

Combine 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 tablespoon La Choy soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 tablespoon La Choy brown gravy sauce; add to hot vegetable mixture and stir until thickened. Add mushrooms and heat to serving temperature. Serve hot over La Choy chow mein noodles for chow mein or over steamed rice for chop suey. Serves 6.
