SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1/2 lb. hamburger
1 cold potato, mashed
1 c. dry bread crumbs
A pinch of ginger
A dash of nutmeg
Salt and pepper to season
1 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
Enough hot milk to make a soft mixture

Form into balls and roll in flour. Brown in hot shortening and fry slowly. Cover with milk and let simmer to form gravy. Add more milk if needed while cooking.
