SWEET SOUR RED CABBAGE 
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. allspice (optional)
1/4 tsp. cloves (optional)
1 med. onion, chopped
1 to 2 lbs. red cabbage, shredded
1/4 c. seasoned gourmet rice vinegar by Marokan Orange Label

Put oil in skillet, stainless steel or a glass only; (all others will make cabbage black). Saute onions until golden brown. Add seasoning and shredded cabbage. Mix lightly. Add water, cover and simmer 1 hour. Add vinegar and simmer 15 minutes.
