REAL MEXICAN CORNBREAD | |
1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 4 oz. green chiles (optional) 1 can creamed corn 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 c. flour 1 c. yellow cornmeal 4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, mix well. Add chiles, corn and cheese, mix well. Sift flour, measure. Mix flour, corn meal with baking powder. Add dry to corn mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 1 hour. |
