CHEESE DATE BALLS 
1/2 c. sharp cheese
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. whole dates
1 c. pecan halves

Grate cheese and cream with butter. Add pepper, salt and flour. Stuff date with pecan half and cover with cheese mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Watch baking according to your oven. These are yellow when done. Bake on greased sheet.
