PINEAPPLE - RHUBARB PIE | |
3 1/2 c. rhubarb 1 c. crushed pineapples, drained 1 tbsp. grated orange peel 1 1/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Combine rhubarb, pineapple, and orange peel. Combine sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon and mix with fruit mixture. Pour into dough-lined pie plate. Dot with butter; cover with top crust which has slits cut in it. Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Makes 1 large deep dish pie or 2 small pies. |
