MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE | |
1 (18 oz) box butter cake mix 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained 7 oz. can coconut 1 tbsp. butter 1/3 cup butter 4 ounces cream cheese 16 oz. box powdered sugar 1-2 tsp. milk Mix cake according to package directions and add oranges. Bake according to directions on pkg, using two 9 inch round cake pans. Brown 1 cup coconut in 1 tsp. butter and set aside. Soften the 1/3 cup butter and cream cheese and mix well with sugar, milk, and remaining coconut. After cake has cooled, frost and sprinkle top and sides of cake with browned coconut. |
