CRAB IMPERIAL | |
1 lb. crabmeat 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. milk or cream 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 slices white bread cubes 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. lemon juice Salt, pepper & paprika to taste 2 tbsp. butter Melt butter. Add flour; mix. Add milk. Stir until thick. Mix in onion, Worcestershire and bread. Cool and add mayonnaise, lemon, salt, pepper and paprika. Heat 2 tablespoons butter and toss crabmeat. Add to above mixture and toss lightly. Put in shallow baking dish. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until brown and bubbly. Serves 4. |
