APPLESAUCE PORK CHOPS 
3 lbs. pork chops
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 c. boiling water
1 jar or can applesauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Brown chops first. In a saucepan, cook together next 5 ingredients until it comes to a boil; then add applesauce and lemon juice and stir. Place chops in bottom of casserole dish and pour prepared sauce over chops. Bake with the lid on at 350°F until meat is lightly browned and tender, about 30 minutes.

Serves 6.
