PASTA PIZZA SQUARES 
8 oz. lasagna noodles
1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (8 oz.)
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. fennel seed
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
4 oz. sliced pepperoni
1 sm. green pepper, sliced
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain. In a skillet cook sausage until brown; drain off fat. Arrange half of cooked noodles in bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of the Mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, the fennel and oregano over noodles. Spread pizza sauce over noodles. Arrange sausage, pepperoni, sliced green pepper and sliced mushrooms on top. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or more until hot. Cut into squares.

Makes 8 servings.
