COUNTRY CORN RELISH | |
2 c. fresh corn kernels or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn kernels 1/2 c. shredded green cabbage 1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric 1 (4 oz.) jar chopped pimientos, drained 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/4 c. cider vinegar 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed Cook everything together one-half hour and seal in sterilized jars. Or cool to room temperature and serve. Makes 3 cups. |
