SHOE PEG CORN RELISH 
1 can French cut green beans
1 can sm. peas
1 can white whole kernel shoe peg corn
1 green pepper, diced
1 onion
1 c. celery
Pimento for color

SYRUP:

1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. water
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar

Drain vegetables thoroughly. Mix and set aside. Stir syrup and bring to boil. Cook, pour over vegetables. Will keep for weeks in the refrigerator.
