4 slices white bread, crusts removed
8 oz. grated sharp cheese
4 eggs
2 c. milk

Lightly butter the bread and place in buttered casserole. Sprinkle cheese between slices. Beat eggs well. Add the milk. Beat again. Pour this mixture over the bread. Let stand 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
