OVEN MEATBALLS | |
2 lbs. ground beef chuck 1/4 lb. ground pork Salt and pepper 1 1/2 c. rice, cooked 1 egg, whipped 1 can tomato soup 1 med. can tomato sauce Bacon grease Combine ground chuck and pork together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in whipped egg and cooked rice. Shape meatballs to desired size, and brown in bacon fat. Place in Dutch oven, add tomato soup and sauce mixed together over meatballs. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Serve meatballs with tomato sauce over top (with cooked rice and baked beans). 4 to 6 servings. |
