HEARTY HAM CHOWDER 
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. diced cooked peeled potatoes
1 c. diced fully cooked ham
2 c. sweet corn
1 c. cream-style corn
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. parsley

In heavy saucepan, sauté onion in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 20 to 30 minutes.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
