LASAGNA 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. red wine (opt.)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 (5 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
8 oz. each Parmesan & Romano cheese
10 Spanish olives, sliced
2 (15 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
6 (6 oz.) cans hot water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Lasagna noodles, cooked

Brown ground beef with onions in butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and olives. Add tomato paste and tomato sauce with 6 cans of water. Bring to boil, add cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
